A L'AIDE, HELP, ALEP !

Fin novembre 2016, sur l'antenne de France Inter, Sophia Aram a suggéré à François Hollande de se rendre à Alep, en Syrie, ville martyre, où la population civile est écrasée sous les bombes des criminels de guerre, Bachar Al Assad, et son allié, Vladimir Poutine. Ainsi, pour le temps qu'il lui reste à passer à l'Elysée, le président français pourrait faire un geste fort et symbolique, qui serait répercuté, à n'en pas douter, partout dans le monde. Il pourrait utiliser sa personne et sa fonction afin de signifier à la communauté internationale que l'on ne peut plus rester les bras croisés et, dans le meilleur des cas, condamner mollement l'extermination systématique des enfants, des femmes et des hommes d'Alep.

A l'image de Guernica, de Srebrenica ou de Sarajevo, cette tragédie restera dans l'histoire honteuse de l'humanité. Daniel Cohn-Bendit a repris l'idée en lançant ce défi à François Hollande, comme on jette une bouteille à la mer. Il a rappelé que François Mitterrand, le 27 juin 1992, n'avait pas hésité, en pleine guerre, à se rendre en hélicoptère à Sarajevo sous les balles et les obus serbes.

Trois candidats à l'élection présidentielle française, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, François Fillon et Marine Le Pen, par leur silence et leur proximité avec le maître du Kremlin, cautionnent ces atrocités.

Honte à eux et à tous ceux qui, comme eux, regardent ailleurs. Il y va de la vie de milliers de nos frères humains. Il y va de nos valeurs démocratiques. Il y va de notre honneur, de la dignité d'une humanité bien malade pour supporter, une nouvelle fois, l'insupportable.

Je vous demande de bien vouloir diffuser le plus largement possible ce modeste appel. Je n’ai que ma plume pour crier ma honte, ma détresse et ma révolte.

HELP, A L'AIDE, ALEPPO !

In the end of november 2016, in France Inter radio, Sophia Aram suggested François Hollande going to Aleppo in Syria, martyr city, where civilians are crushed under the bombs of the war criminals Bachar Al Assad and his allied Vladimir Poutine.

For the time remaining at the Elysée, the French President could indeed make a strong and symbolic sign, which would indubitably be echoed to the rest of the world.

He could ‘use’ his person and his function in order to signify the international community that it becomes intolerable to remain inactive and to gently condemn, in the best case, the systematic extermination of the children, women and men of Aleppo.

Exactly as in Guernica, Srebrenica or Sarajevo, this tragedy will remain in the most ashamed history of the Humankind.

Daniel Cohn-Bendit took over the idea by challenging François Hollande, just as we throw a bottle in the sea.

He reminded that François Mitterrand, on 27 June 1992, didn’t hesitate to go to Sarajevo, in the heart of the war, by helicopter and under the Serbian bullits and shells.

Three candidates to the French presidential election, Jean-Luc Mélenchon, François Fillon and Marine Le Pen, by their silence and their proximity with the Kremlin master, totally support these atrocities.

Shame on them and on all those who look elsewhere. This concerns the life of thousands of our human brothers. This concerns our democratic values. This concerns our honour, the dignity of such a crazy humanity that it can tolerate the intolerable.
